Modi shakes up NSA team after Pahalgam terror attack, makes key appointments

The Modi government has overhauled India’s top security think tank, the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB), in a sweeping move following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack. Former RAW chief Alok Joshi has been appointed as the new chairman of the revamped NSAB, which now includes a powerhouse lineup of ex-military commanders-Air Marshal PM Sinha, Lt Gen AK Singh, and Rear Admiral Monty Khanna-alongside retired IPS officers Rajiv Ranjan Verma and Manmohan Singh, and former IFS officer B Venkatesh Varma.
