Manipur Burns: Retd Army Officer Who Led Surgical Strike Tasked To Handle Ethnic Violence

A former Army officer, Colonel Nectar Sanjenbam, has been appointed as senior superintendent (combat) in the Manipur police department. He played a key role in India's surgical strikes in Myanmar in 2015 and will now help the Manipur government tackle the unrest in the state that has claimed over 170 lives since May 3.
