Mamata gears to face PM in 2024; says TMC will fight Lok Sabha polls from UP

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made her plans clear about 2024 Lok Sabha polls. While addressing TMC party workers after being elected the unopposed chairperson of All India Trinamool Congress, Mamata said that TMC will contest the 2024 polls from Uttar Pradesh. She clarified that she was going to support Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming assembly polls. She also urged TMC workers to remain united and appealed to the regional parties to come together to defeat the BJP and its saffron wave across India. Mamata said, “I feel sad to see that the Congress is fighting the election in favour of the BJP in Meghalaya and Chandigarh. We want all anti-BJP fronts to come together. But if someone thinks otherwise and remains arrogant, then we have to choose our own path. Regional parties must come together to defeat the BJP.” Watch for more details.
