Japan’s Moon Mission Delayed For Third Time Amid India’s Space Glory With Chandrayaan-3

Japan continues to face challenges in launching its ambitious lunar mission – Moon Sniper. Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) delayed its moon probe launch for the third time due to bad weather. Japan has one of the world’s biggest space programs but is yet to land a spacecraft on the moon. Japan’s ambitious moon mission comes in wake of India’s historic Chandrayaan-3 which soft-landed on the Moon’s south pole on August 23, becoming the fourth country to kiss the lunar surface.
