Indian Govt Alerted As Foreign Troops Infiltrate Into India From War-Torn Neighbouring Country

The Mizoram government has alerted the Modi government at Centre about rising infiltration of Myanmar soldiers who are fleeing their country amid a civil-war like situation. Nearly 600 soldiers of the Myanmar military have fled to India and are taking refuge in Mizoram which is also sheltering thousands of civilian refugees from the neighbouring nation. Mizoram CM Lalduhumo had an urgent meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah during the 71st Plenary session of Northeast Council.
