India rejects Pak’s ‘farcical' resolution on in J&K delimitation exercise

In a stunning rebuttal to Pakistan's May 12 resolution on J&K delimitation exercise, India's Ministry of External Affairs called out the Shahbaz Sharif government and warned Pakistan to not meddle in India's internal affairs. The statement by MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi noted that Pakistan has no locus standi to pronounce on or interfere in India's internal matters. "The entire territory of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has been, is and shall always remain an integral part of India," said the MEA spokesperson. The statement further read, "We categorically reject the farcical resolution passed by the National Assembly of Pakistan on the subject of the delimitation exercise in the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir."
