Gyanvapi mosque report submitted; Sacked survey chief found 4 Hindu idol debris

- The Supreme Court has asked the local court in Varanasi to not pass any orders in the Gyanvapi Mosque survey case until tomorrow. The Supreme Court will hear the matter at 3PM on Friday in connection to the appeal challenging Allahabad High Court's direction to conduct the survey. This came as court-appointed Advocate Commissioner Vishal Singh submitted the report on filming of the Gyanvapi Masjid in Varanasi court. The report was handed over in 3 folders and was submitted in a sealed cover by the team that filmed the mosque complex on May 14, 15 and 16. On Thursday, sacked advocate commissioner - Ajay Mishra filed a 2-page report on his findings during the survey on May 6 and 7. The report claims it found a fragmented deity, debris of temple, shape of lotus in the mosque. It further claims that Saffron colour was seen, shapes of four Hindu idols spotted, Sheshnag image and remains of used diya were also found. Watch this video for more details.
