Chandrayaan-3's Vikram Lander Hops On The Moon; Leaves ISRO Surprised With 'Unplanned' Manoeuvre

Chandrayaan-3 has completed all its mission objectives. However, the lander Vikram did something that surprised even the ISRO. The Vikram lander successfully conducted a hop experiment, meaning it landed on the Moon again on command, which was initially not planned. This opens new possibilities for future moon missions, and could also make possible the return of spacecrafts with lunar samples.
