Quantico 3: Will Priyanka Chopra be able to keep TRPs high for ABC?

After two seasons, Priyanka Chopra’s American TV show, Quantico, has been renewed for a third season. Despite speculations doing the rounds that the show’s ratings have been dwindling, Priyanka will be back to playing Alex Parish soon. Currently, she is promoting her Hollywood film but she will be back to India after that and leave for the US around July to start preparations for the new season.

A source close to her says, “While the show was shifted from Sunday to Monday night, Quantico has apparently performed well for ABC Studios internationally. This resulted in the favour of the show being renewed for a third season. Alex Parish, Priyanka’s character will play the protagonist though there have been some other changes in the cast. This season will focus more on action and stunts and Priyanka is most likely to undergo some kind of workshop or training before the season commences in August. But this time however, it will just have 13 episodes as opposed to 22 and 21 episodes in season 1 and 2. Which also means that she will have more time to juggle between her Bollywood movies, production house and her Hollywood career.”

An ecstatic Priyanka says, “I’m so excited about the Quantico Season 3 pick up. The past two years have been incredibly enriching, while at the same time extremely difficult. Choosing between TV and film is not a choice I want to make. A shortened season is the best of both worlds, and I look forward to seeing you on the big and small screen in the coming year.
