Game of Thrones: Is it time we stopped taking death as gospel?
Major spoilers. Consider yourselves warned.

But, the big BUT, don’t lose hope and don’t go about proclaiming on your Facebook or Twitter accounts how you are ‘so done’ with the show. There is hope. So far, we have been taking deaths on Game of Thrones as points of no return. Ned, Catelyn, Robb, Khal Drogo, Oberyn, they were all snatched away from us one after another. And we cried our eyes out but eventually moved on. But could it be that there are still ways to bring them back from the dead? To that we say, yes.
Jon
It is known that Bran is a Warg, a person who can control the minds of animals. However, it is not just Bran. All the Stark children, even Jon, are Wargs. Arya saw things from Nymeria’s perspective from time to time and so did Jon. Jon has dreamt about wolves, seen things happen to Ghost when he wasn’t there. Apparently, even after they have been killed, the Wargs can transfer themselves into the bodies of an animal. In Jon’s case, it might be Ghost. But the way his death scene worked out yesterday, this theory seems too far-fetched. But wait! We have more: Remember Melisandre the traitor, riding back to the Wall having deserted Stannis Baratheon? Remember how she burned Shireen alive? Of course you do, now that you are scarred for life. So, ‘the god of light’ owes her a miracle. Some drops of Gendry’s blood were enough to kill Jeoffrey and Robb, just imagine what burning a whole princess would be worth. Worth Jon Snow’s life?Stannis
We wish it was done and over but don’t believe a death if the scene fades into black before you actually see the head drop off the body (read… the Hound… he might come back to fight the Mountain one last time). Brienne has a soft heart, and we very much doubt she’d be able to split an unarmed and mortally wounded Stannis’ head. However, even if he is alive, what good will he be? Half his army is dead, the other half has deserted him, he set his own daughter on fire, his wife hung herself to death and even Melisandre turned out to be a traitor. He is giving Ser Jorah a very hard fight at being the unluckiest man in all of the seven kingdoms.Sansa and Theon/Reek
Read a tweet by someone "You know this is a f***ed up show when the only ray of hope is two people jumping off a tower". You’d think yea it is obvious, they’ll make it… the ice will cushion their fall. Maybe, maybe not. The tower was indeed very high. Well, one thing is for sure, all this while we thought Theon is dead but apparently there was still some of him left in there.
Myrcella
This season has been the absolute worst for fathers and daughters. First off, they showed Stannis getting closer to Shireen, only to kill her later. And in the last episode, they showed Myrcella accepting the relationship between Cersei and Jaime. We later see her die in Jaime’s arms, poisoned by Ellaria Sand. But could she still be alive? Again, we never saw her die. They might have found some antidote on the boat or maybe Bronn had some more of it stolen in case the ‘most beautiful woman in the world’ attacked again.
Book readers would know that resurrection is not impossible in Game of Thrones and even those of you who have been watching only the show know it from the segment about the Brothers Without Banners that a man can be brought back from the dead, multiple times.
So rejoice y’all! All is not lost.
