Emilia Clarke, Jason Momoa reunite on Game of Thrones sets, fans speculate

Game of Thrones stars Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa had a reunion on Sunday, and pictures of the two of them were shared online by Clarke, who is currently shooting for the show’s final season.

In the picture, she can be seen in Momoa’s arms, comparing her pose to the classic scene from Dirty Dancing. “FYI...This is the closest you’ll ever get to me attempting ‘that lift’ from dirty dancing. Yes, my man is sitting. Yes, there’s no lake. And yes, I have no idea I’m NOT being raised above his head.(Id like to take a moment to thank alcohol for giving me courage to attempt this. Ever.),” she wrote with the picture, tagging Momoa and Game of Thrones with it.

Clarke plays Daenerys Targaryen in the hit fantasy television show, and Momoa found fame after playing her husband, Khal Drogo in the show’s first season. The reunion has fans speculating if Drogo will be resurrected in the show’s eighth season, or if there will be a flashback scene featuring the former couple. Momoa also recently posed with the show’s creators, Dan Weiss and David Benioff, and Clarke’s co-star, Kit Harington. Sharing the pictures on his Instagram, he wrote, “I’m so grateful to be apart of the greatest show on earth. I’m honored to be able to come to Ireland and celebrate with my friends. I’m just here for kisses and hugs and The black stuff mahalo David and Dan you are legends . Congrats to the talented crew and cast. Aloha j.”

Both Clarke and Momoa have gone on to have successful careers in Hollywood after breaking out with GoT. She played Sarah Connor in the ill-fated Terminator Genisys and was most recently seen in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Momoa will reprise his role as Aquaman in the DC character’s solo adventure, due out in November.

The final season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere in 2019.
