Ekta Kapoor shares emotional video of dad Jeetendra giving tour of humble first home

Ekta Kapoor on Friday shared an emotional video - as part of the promotional drive for her new Alt-Balaji show Home - featuring her father, Jeetendra, visiting his humble first home. The video shows the actor walking up to the chawl in Mumbai and meeting the residents, some of whom he appears to recognise.

“My hero my dad my HOME ! We launch our most special show campaign with my dad at d place he calls #MyHOME,” Ekta wrote alongside the video, and asked fans to share their own memories of their first homes, the best of which she promised to share among her followers.

In another tweet, Ekta shared a collage of her family, including brother Tusshar Kapoor and her parents. She nominated several other actors such as Hina Khan, Mouni Roy, Divyanka Tripathi and Anita Hassanandani to share their own family pictures.

Ekta’s new show, also titled Home, is a family drama featuring Annu Kapoor, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Amol Parashar, Parikshit Sahni, Himani Shivpuri and others. The show, directed by Habib Faisal, will be released on Alt-Balaji on August 29.
