Daniel Craig turns down £68m James Bond deal, won’t play 007 again
Daniel Craig is done playing James Bond. The actor reportedly turned down £68 deal to play 007 in two more films. Tom Hiddleston is likely to step into his shoes.
Daniel Craig was not kidding when he said he would rather” slash his wrists” than play James Bond one more time. The Hollywood star has reportedly turned down a £68 million (app Rs 667 crore) offer from MGM studio to return as Bond for two more films, according to a Daily Mail report. The sum included endorsements, profit shares, and a role for him working as a co-producer.

Craig is the highest-paid actor to play the role, netting a reported total of £38million for the four films he has appeared in. The actor has played Bond since 2005 and the films he has starred in have made over £2billion in box office revenue.
Insiders said Craig turned down a £68million offer from MGM studio to return as Bond for two more films following last year’s hit Spectre. The actor had earlier said he may do more Bond films after Spectre “for money”.

Craig’s refusal may be the last confirmation everyone needed to confirm Tom Hiddleston becoming the next Bond. Bookmakers recently called off bets on Hiddleston becoming the next James Bond.
A flurry of bets in recent days had tipped the Thor actor to replace Daniel Craig as the next 007, making him the 2-1 favourite.
