How did social media react?
An individual posted, “Well written. Having lived in Japan for some time, I very much agree with what the author is trying to put forward. A third remarked, “Resonate so deeply with this. I spent two years in Chicago, and my brain chemistry altered for the better. I learnt to listen better, to look with fresh eyes at even the plants around me, and most importantly, to accept myself and the people around me for who they are instead of trying to fit them into the boxes of definitions that I was aware of.” A fourth wrote, “Wow, this post with all the following comments is a dose of some learnings on learning, unlearning, and adapting to newer challenging surroundings. We will only enjoy what we do when we stop complaining, see the beauty of diversity, and learn to apply it for a greater purpose.”
