Billionaire Mukesh Ambani's speech at Anant, Radhika Merchant wedding: ‘Swasthya, samridhi, safalta’
Mukesh Ambani and family are hosting the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai.
Billionaire Mukesh Ambani gave a speech at the wedding of his younger son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.
“To bless Anant and Radhika will be their doting granparents, those who are with us today and those who are in heaven left us," he said as he addressed the guests.
“Today, I pray to the almighty that Anant and Radhika be so blessed that life together be filled with sukh, wasthya, samridhi and safalta. Happiness, health, prosperity and sucess.”

Anant and Radhika Merchant had a varmala (exchanging of floral garlands) on Friday night, followed by detailed ceremonies which included pheras (taking rounds) around the sacred fire. The bride nailed her wedding look in a resplendent lehenga by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She opted for a heavily embroidered ivory ensemble with red and gold accents and accentuated her look with elegant jewellery.
Her outfit is a traditional interpretation of 'Panetar,' a Gujarati tradition of brides wearing red and white.

Global celebrities, business tycoons and politicians were in the audience at the venue, Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai.
Anant Ambani, 29, married his longtime girlfriend, Radhika Merchant, in what is seen as India's biggest wedding in recent years. Merchant is the daughter of Encore Healthcare's Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant.
Star-studded guest list
The ceremony brought together a star-studded guest list, including former British prime ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, Kim Kardashian and sister Khloe Kardashian, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and many other personalities from the worlds of sports, cinema and politics.
Ambanis to host reception over the weekend
After Friday's wedding, the Ambanis will host a Shubh Ashirwad (blessings) ceremony on Saturday and another reception on Sunday.
