Indian duo sets world record for travelling seven continents in just three days
Sujoy and Dr. Ali from India set the world record for travelling around seven continents in just three days.
Almost all of us have read Jules Verne's novel Around the World in Eighty Days during our school days and have thought to ourselves if one can actually do that. However, recently, a duo from India proved it right by setting a world record in an even shorter time. Dr. Ali Irani and Sujoy Kumar Mitra, two Indian men, broke the previous Guinness World Record for the quickest time to visit all seven continents in just 73 hours. The fastest time to visit all seven continents was recorded in 3 days, 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 4 seconds.

Sujoy and Dr. Ali are avid travellers who think that every record is meant to be broken. In a statement that they told Guinness World Records, they said, "Today we might be successful in breaking a record, tomorrow someone else will break our record."
On his Instagram page, Dr. Ali also posted the Guinness World Records certificate. The post's caption read, "In Guinness Book Of World Records."
