Durex India congratulates Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor with witty one-liner

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor took social media by storm on Monday after Alia shared a picture of the couple in a hospital room, saying, “Our baby ….. coming soon”. The post also features a picture of a lion and a lioness with their cub. Since the post was shared, social media has been flooded with reactions and congratulatory messages for the couple and their family. Among them is Durex India, who shared a witty post to congratulate the couple.

“Mehfil me teri… hum toh clearly nahi the,” Durex India wrote, referencing the song Channa Mereya from Ranbir Kapoor’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. They also wrote congratulations along with a smiley in the post. “The JOMO is REAL! Congratulations Alia & Ranbir,” they posted as a caption to the post.

Since being shared three hours ago, the post has received more than 36,000 likes and several comments. “Great branding,” wrote an Instagram user. “Best,” wrote another, along with laughing emojis. “What a marketing mind,” said a third.

Durex India had shared a similar post when the couple got married on April 14. They wrote, “Dear Ranbir & Alia, Mehfil me tere, hum na rahein jo, Fun to nahi hai.”
