‘Chai ke saath mazak nahi’: Video of man making momos chai irks food lovers

Tea and momos are two beloved delicacies that are enjoyed separately. Some may sip tea while having momos, but what if we ask you to taste a concoction of them, would you? A video of a man making momos chai - a drink that is not everyone’s cup of tea - has gone viral on social media and is eliciting numerous responses from foodies.

“Share with a chai lover. Momos chai,” wrote food vlogger Kashif while sharing a video on Instagram. The video opens to show a man adding momos to tea and bringing it to a boil. As the video goes on, he adds mayonnaise and schezwan sauce while the viewers watch in horror. Finally, he pours the weird combination into a cup and tastes the weird combination. He promptly pukes it into the kitchen sink.

The video was shared a while back on Instagram. It has so far accumulated over 1.2 million views. The share has also received numerous likes and comments.

Some even went so far as to question if there was anything else left to add to the mix.
