Sunny Deol is known as Bollywood’s macho man. He is the son of Dharmendra and Hema Malini as his step-mother. He marked his debut with the film Betaab in 1983 for which he received Filmfare Best Actor Award nominations. He starred in many successful movies like Apne, Ghayal, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Damini – Lightning. He received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the latter. He is married to Pooja Deol. The couple has two sons, Karan and Rajveer.He joined BJP in 2019.
