Hailstorm in Shimla, rain across Himachal Pradesh

The minimum temperature dropped by 2-5 degrees Celsius at many places in the state and Tabo in Lahaul and Spiti recorded a low of 5.6 degree Celsius.

Above normal rainfall likely over entire S Asia region, including India, in June-Sept

On April 15, the IMD predicted that monsoon rainfall during June to September, over the country is likely to be “above normal” at 105% of long period average (LPA) with a model error of ± 5%
