Govinda Arun Ahuja, known as Govinda was born to Aroon and Nirmala Devi. He was given the pet name Chi Chi by his family. He made his acting debut with Ilzaam in 1986. He has starred in many successful movies like Coolie No. 1, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Saajan Chale Sasural and Dulhe Raja. For Haseena Maan Jayegi, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Comedian and Filmfare Special Award for Saajan Chale Sasural. He is married to Sunita Ahuja. He even judged season 2 of DID Super Moms. He defeated Ram Naik of BJP to become MP in 14th Lok Sabha elections.
