Why Dr Reddy's and Sun Pharma are recalling certain products from US market

As per the enforcement report by the US health regulator, the US-based arm of Dr Reddy's Laboratories is recalling over 48,000 cartons of a drug used to treat sneezing, runny or stuffy nose. It is recalling 25,176 cartons of 30-count tablets and 22,968 cartons of 20-count tablets.

India-made Sputnik V Covid vaccine may be available from September: Dr Reddy’s

The company also said that it has received a collective 36 lakh doses of component 1 and 2 of Sputnik V vaccine jabs in India from the RDIF.

In a release, Dr Reddy's Laboratories further stated that since Sputnik V vaccine's soft pilot in Hyderabad in May, it has spread to around 80 Indian cities.

Kerala plans to sign agreement with RDIF to fill Sputnik V vaccine vials

Kerala industries principal secretary Dr K Ellangovan said that the RDIF has shown interest in the proposal made by the state government via the Russian ambassador to India Nikolay Kudashev.

The RDIF has entered into a partnership with Dr Reddy’s Labs to market the first 250 million doses of Sputnik V in India.
