This 23-year-old Texas youth earned ₹28 lakh using ChatGPT!

ChatGPT has brought about a revolution in the field of artificial intelligence. The OpenAI's bot is seen as a medium to lives easier, while there are many who argue that it would take away livelihoods. The debate over the pros and cons of this chatbot is never ending.

But there is a 23-year-old youth earning $34,913 ( ₹28.69 lakh) through ChatGPT. Lance Junck is earning a whopping amount of money through his newly launched online course on education platform Udemy, Business Insider reported.

Within three months, he has managed to enroll more than 15,000 students in his course titled ‘ChatGPT Masterclass: A Complete ChatGPT Guide for Beginners’.

Hailing from Austin in Texas, Junck used ChatGPT last November and claims he was blown away by its capabilities. He wanted to make this chatbot accessible to everyone, saying there is an ‘incredible learning curve’ to ChatGPT. The 23-year-old said people are afraid of this AI chatbot and he wanted to make it warm, exciting and approachable to the people.

Calling himself self-taught, Junck says he spends hours everyday asking ChatGPT to do various things like writing an introduction to a novel or product descriptions. He also claims to be consuming all kinds of ChatGPT content online. 

The course is seven hours long and teaches learners to write their first ChatGPT prompt, then gradually progressing to writing applications for businesses, students and programmers. The guide also has tutorials on creating art with AI image generator DALL E-2 among others. 

Junck says the students are aged between 20 and 50 years old, including college students and working professionals. Although a majority of learners are from the US, the students from Canada, India and Japan have also been attracted to this course. 

According to Junck, his expertise in marketing and search engine optimisation (SEO) is the reason behind the demand for his course. He said his course is first to appear among the 1,266 results on looking for ChatGPT on Udemy. 

The report says Junck has also taught startups like ClearDesk on implementing ChatGPT into their marketing, HR and operations teams. He has also got opportunities to teach companies like Sage Executive Group and tech news site HPCwire.
