Every upcoming Assassin’s Creed games: Mirage, Infinity and more on the way

A few months ago, Ubisoft celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Assassin's Creed (AC) franchise with a special event where they revealed several upcoming offerings. Among these, Assassin's Creed Mirage is the major reveal, showcasing Ubisoft's vision for the new generation of AC titles.

Here's a rundown of the forthcoming Assassin's Creed games:

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Set to explore the early days of the franchise, Mirage will feature a younger Basim from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. This adventure will take place in Baghdad and focus on a more story-driven experience. The AC Mirage trailer emphasizes the game's return to the original elements of the series, including hidden blades, social stealth, rooftop tailing, and knife throwing. However, a recent leak from Twitter user ScriptLeakR6 suggests that the Mirage release date has been pushed to 2024, and that Ubisoft Ivory Tower is also delaying Project Orlando.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity

This interactive project will allow players to jump between different historical periods while progressing in the modern day. The first two titles joining the Infinity hub are Codename Red and Codename Hexe.

Codename Red

Developed by Ubisoft Quebec, this upcoming AC game is based on Japanese lore. The team behind Codename Red also created Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Promising a shinobi story arc, Codename Red will be the next RPG title after AC Mirage, with updates expected in early 2024.

Codename Hexe

Ubisoft Montreal is taking a different approach with this title, which will delve into the infamous witch trials of 16th-century Europe.

Codename Jade

This game will mark the first open-world mobile experience for the AC franchise. Players will create their own Assassin avatar and parkour across the Great Wall of China during the 215 BCE period. Ubisoft is taking extra time to develop optimized touch controls for this mobile adventure.
