WWDC 2023: Mixed reality headset won't go on sale for several more months
While the headset will debut on Monday, it won’t go on sale for several more months. Internally, the company has discussed release dates ranging from after the iPhone 15 launch to December to early 2024, a Bloomberg report added. It has trademarked names suggesting brands ranging from Reality Pro or Reality One to XR Pro, while the operating system itself will be dubbed xrOS.

Apple is reportedly selling merchandise from popular TV show ‘Ted Lasso’ at its Apple Park Visitor Centre store. Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman had tweeted, "Apple is planning to start selling Ted Lasso merchandise TODAY at its Apple Park visitor center store… but other retail stores have been told to destroy promotional material for the merchandise launch."
Apple nearing debut of updated Mac Studio: Report
Apple is also nearing the debut of an updated Mac Studio line in new M2 Max and M2 Ultra configurations — codenamed Mac 14,13 and Mac 14,14 or J475 — to replace last year’s M1 Max and M1 Ultra models. The new machines and their chips recently were spotted in testing. The M2 Max chip is the same as the one found in the latest 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, while the M2 Ultra will be entirely new, Bloomberg reported.

The Writers' Guild of America is planning leaflet protests at several Apple Stores including the Apple Park Visitor Center where the WWDC 2023 will kick off, 9to5Mac reported. The writers' group has expedited campaigns against individual studios including Apple because of its Apple TV+ original content division.

iOS 17, codenamed Dawn, will bring a new smart display-like mode for the iPhone when the device is locked and placed in landscape mode. This feature will include an interface for showing upcoming calendar appointments and other snippets of information, in addition to notifications, Bloomberg reported. A journaling app to take notes and update your friends on activities such as a bike ride. The app will let people keep a log of their mood and emotions, and it should tap deeply into location services on the iPhone.
WWDC 2023: Mixed reality headset to cost ₹2.47 lakh, will be initially sold in US
Apple's mixed reality headset ‘Reality Pro’ will cost around $3,000 ( ₹2.47 lakh). According to Bloomberg report, the company has discussed initially selling the device in the United States and is expected to sell about nine lakh units in the first year. Apple believes sales will begin slow but that the device provides an Apple Watch-sized opportunity.
Apple to open three more retail stores in India by 2027
Apple is discussing plans to open its third store in India, which will come up in Borivali suburb of Mumbai in 2025. According to a Bloomberg report, the fourth store will be opened at the DLF Promenade Mall in Delhi in 2026. In 2027, Apple aims to add a fifth Indian outpost, a location in the seaside Worli area in Mumbai.
