'He has shown interest in men, will present all evidence': Boxer Saweety Boora's shocking charge against husband Deepak

Indian boxer Saweety Boora claimed that her husband, Deepak Hooda, is interested in men. The 32-year-old shared a video on Instagram showing her breaking down while saying she is ready to take legal action against Deepak. She also stated that her husband's behaviour has left her with no option but to show the reality publicly.

For the uninitiated, Deepak Hooda and Saweety Boora tied the knot in July 2022. Recently, a video had also gone viral on social media in which Boora was seen assaulting her husband inside a police station in Hisar, Haryana.

As per several reports, Boora has already filed for divorce, accusing the kabaddi player of dowry harassment and assault.

In an Instagram video, Saweety Boora said, "I didn’t want to say anything inappropriate, but I feel compelled to share that he has shown an interest in men. I was shocked when I came across videos of him with other men. I never intended to go down this path, but I will present all the evidence in court. I didn’t want to speak about this publicly, but my husband refuses to take responsibility," Boora said.

“I have all the videos and proof, which I will submit to the court. I will show everything he made me go through. I initially wanted a simple divorce, but now I am left with no choice," she added.

Sweety Boora also stated that she could prove everything in court as she has all the evidence. "The things I felt too embarrassed to discuss, even with my parents, I now have to address publicly because of his actions. I will prove everything in court, as I have not made any false accusations like he has,” Boora said.

Viral assault video

Earlier, a viral video showed Saweety Boora lunging towards Deepak Hooda inside a police station. The scenes turned ugly after she grabbed him by the throat.

Family members had to step in to separate the couple. A heated argument followed inside the police station. As per India Today, Boora informed the Hisar SP on March 11 that she no longer wishes to stay with Hooda.

On the other hand, Hooda claimed that he was summoned to the Hisar police station on March 15, where he was assaulted during questioning.

Both Boora and Hooda are recipients of the esteemed Arjuna Award.
