A view of SpaceX's Starship the day before it launches from the Starbase launchpad on an orbital test mission

World's biggest rocket Starship set for first test flight on Monday

SpaceX's Starship, the most powerful rocket ever built, is set to undergo its first test flight on Monday from the company's spaceport in Boca Chica, Texas. The rocket, which has been designed to carry astronauts to the Moon and Mars, is set to blast off at 8:00 am Central Time. Elon Musk, the billionaire founder of SpaceX, has warned that the flight is "very risky" and that "there's a million ways this rocket could fail." If successful, Starship will be used by NASA to ferry astronauts to the Moon in 2025.
