'Spaceship' observatory allows Cyprus stargazers a peek at the final frontier
A new space observatory in Cyprus, resembling a sci-fi spaceship, has been inaugurated in the Troodos mountains. The 1.77 million euro Troodos Observatory aims to attract visitors to the area and expand celestial knowledge. Designed by the Tsolakis siblings, the observatory features a large reflective telescope and a unique architectural design. The project is part of the Geostars initiative to revitalize rural areas.
