ISRO to hold more test under Gaganyaan after maiden test: S Somanath

India's space agency, ISRO, will conduct three more test vehicle missions as part of the Gaganyaan programme after the maiden TV-D1 test flight on October 21. The Gaganyaan project aims to launch a human crew into orbit and bring them back safely to Earth. The first test flight will be conducted at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, and the subsequent test missions will be used to conduct thorough tests of the spacecraft. ISRO's chairman, S Somanath, also discussed the Aditya-L1 programme, which is India's first solar mission, and the plans to establish a new launch pad in Kulasekarapattinam.
