ISRO carries out demo of restarting Vikas liquid engine
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully demonstrated the restart of its Vikas liquid engine at Mahendragiri, marking progress towards reusable launch vehicles. The test involved a 60-second firing followed by a 120-second shut-off and a 7-second restart. Further tests are planned to optimize engine performance. Additionally, ISRO has advanced its LVM3 launch vehicle for a commercial satellite mission.
