Velaikkaran song Iraiva: This Sivakarthikeyan-Nayanthara song is high on life and love
Velaikkaran song Iraiva: Anirudh has infused two genres in this Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara song about love and life.
The second single from Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara-starrer Velaikkaran was released online on Thursday. Anirudh had earlier said that working on this song was an interesting experience for them as the song was about two emotions - life and love. Composer Anirudh has also seems to have combined two for Velaikkaran’s second single, “Iraiva+Uyire”.

After the success of Surviva in Vivegam, which had some incredible metal tunes, Anirudh has fused metal with melody beautifully in Iraiva. It starts of as a beautiful lilting tune and as the lyrics builds up, the metal influence is brought together with Anirudh’s voice. The flute and piano bridge, right before Jonita Gandhi begins Uyire falls in place as well as the rock.

The song hooks you in with the drop and lift of two different kinds of music. It is expected to be one of the songs that feature on your repeat list. Especially on a frustrating day, this is the kind of music that might lift your mood.
After the success of Karuthavanlaam Galeejaam, the first song from the album, the composer is set to entertain his fans with this number.
Sivakarthikeyan’s film was expected to release during Ayudha Pooja, however, the makers announced that the film will be postponed until Christmas vacations. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil, and this will mark his debut in Tamil film industry. It will also star Prakash Raj, Sneha and RJ Balaji in pivotal roles. Produced by 24 Am Studios, the movie is directed by Mohan Raja, who rose to fame with his film Thani Oruvan.
