NTR biopic first look: Nandamuri Balakrishna’s likeness to his father is uncanny. See pic

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s biopic, starring his son Nandamuri Balakrishna, is an exciting project with a promising star cast that includes Vidya Balan as NTR’s first wife Basavatama and Rana Daggubati as Chandrababu Naidu, the current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Balakrishna’s look in the film was revealed on the eve of Independence Day by the makers and his likeness to his father is uncanny. Fans on Twitter have also noticed the same about the first look.

This biopic is being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and after the success of Savitri’s biopic Mahanati, the industry is waiting to see how NTR biopic will fare, especially since it is releasing in time for the assembly elections that would take place in 2019.

Balakrishna, who is also a part of Telugu Desam Party originally founded by his father NTR, also hopes to gain political mileage from this film.

Rana released the special poster on Twitter and captioned it, “Nandamuri Bala Krishna in and as the Legendary #NTR #HappyIndependenceDay.” He began shooting for the biopic on August 13 and the actor had shared on Twitter, “My Day 1 being part of the grand story of the mighty #NTR!! @DirKrish and Baba such a pleasure to be back on sets with you guys after 7 years!! #CBN.”
