She adds that the video did help her reach out to a variety of audience, thus making her a household name. “The song was the turning point for me as it introduced me to a huge section of audience and fans. I have never done television essentially, so the Internet has made me and opened avenues for me,” says the artiste.

Once again, Mithila is in the headlines for her inspirational TEDx talk, which was held at NIT Silchar, Assam. She says, “I am overwhelmed at people’s response to what I said. I am a normal girl from a humble, middle class family. It wasn’t easy to leave my comfort zone and chase my dreams. However, it is important to believe in yourself. At the end of the day, if you are not happy, no one can make you happy.” She goes on to clarify that Tedx events are organised at private levels and the criteria are completely different from TED talks.

Mithila shares that the second season of her popular web series Little Things will begin its shooting schedule soon. “Currently, I am enjoying the attention and love from the film’s success. I am also auditioning and reading scripts. So, something should come out soon,” she says.
