A day after Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab campaign committee head Bhagwant Mann said the party will declare its chief ministerial candidate before the elections, Chhotepur said the CM will be chosen by the MLAs. “What Mann said seems to be the result of a communication gap,” he said, adding things will be made clear after party chief Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to the Golden Temple on July 18.

Chhotepur also condemned the arrests of religious leaders in the state. Terming it a violation of human rights, Chhotepur said Badals were behaving like “dictators” to snub the democratic voice of people.
