MC to beautify complexes, area around its Zone-C office

Finally, the civic body has decided to beautify the area and several complexes around the MC's Zone-C office that is located on Gill Road.

The MC has even started the work to clean the area outside the complex of MC library, where a park will be constructed.

The MC will remove encroachments from the area lying between the Pahwa Hospital Road and Jaimal Singh Road, besides, renovating its complexes. Mayor Harchran Singh Gohalwaria and additional commissioner Rishipal Singh also inspected the area on Wednesday. The mayor has recommended the MC official to remove the commercial encroachments raised in front of the shops.

He assured to improve the condition of this area by beautifying and developing it. The work to remove heaps of garbage from the parking area is also on.

Talking to HT, Gohalwaria said, “The complexes and shops near MC Zone-C office fall under the civic body. Some buildings in the MC complexes were sold and given on lease. Now, we have planned to give beautiful shape to these complexes, as these would generate revenue for the MC. A parking lot and park will also be constructed soon. The work to clean that area is on.”

Rishipal Singh said, “I visited this area few days ago and directed to clean the area. I will also take steps for removal of encroachments.”
