Around 7 lakh families of Punjab have been attached to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) through its ‘Parivar Jodo’ campaign that aims at including 75 lakh families of Punjab to the said campaign, AAP (Punjab) convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur said here on Saturday.

Chhotepur said the families connected to AAP through its ‘Parivar Jodo’ campaign were fed up with the ‘misrule’ of the rotational governments of the SAD-BJP alliance and the Congress in Punjab.

Chhotepur remarked that the leaders of the SAD-BJP alliance and the Congress were feeling uneasy on seeing the rise of the AAP in Punjab.

Chhotepur expressed that these leaders were afraid of the consequences of their alleged misdeeds done during their regimes for which AAP would punish them on coming to power in the state.

He said with AAP government in Punjab, all corrupt leaders of the SAD-BJP and the Congress would be exposed.

Chhotepur said AAP would repeat its Delhi history in Punjab in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections due in 2017.

He said the people of Punjab would not be taken in by the false propaganda of the SAD-BJP government and the Congress against AAP, which is the party of honest, wise and revolutionary people.
