23-year-old Pune medical science student dies after being run over by Tempo

The incident took place on the Mundhwa -Hadapsar road near Magarpatta city after the tempo driver hit the woman's Activa, following which she fell down and was run over by the tempo.

A 23-year-old medical science student died after her bike was hit by Tempo on in Hadapsar, Pune.The incident took place on the Mundhwa -Hadapsar road near Magarpatta city after the tempo driver hit the woman's Activa, following which she fell down and was run over by the tempo. She was on her way to college when the accident occurred on Wednesday morning at around 10:50 am.

 The victim has been identified as Anuradha Prakash Pantulawar. According to the Hadapsar police, she was a resident of Bhekarai Nagar in Pune. Anuradha was a student of medical science of Sane Guruji college. Though she is originally from Deglur in Nanded, she had been living in Bhekarai Nagar for the sake of proximity to her college. 

 “We will be filing a case against the unknown driver and the CCTV footage will help us solve the case soon,” said police inspector Vishnu Pawar of the Hadapsar police station. The police inspector also added that the dead body had been sent to postmortem, following which the body will be handed over to the parents. Police are trying to contact the victim's relatives.

 The name, age and residence of the driver of the are unknown as of now, said police in a statement after analysing the scene of accident.Further details are awaited.
