Prabhsimran Singh smashed 91 in just 48 balls as the Punjab Kings finally ended their voodoo in Dharamsala and beat the Lucknow Super Giants by 37 runs. Prabhsimran's innings, coupled with major contributions from Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh, propelled PBKS to a score of 236/5 after which a devastating powerplay spell from Arshdeep Singh pretty much laid waste to the LSG chase. Punjab were handed an early blow at Dharamsala, where they have lost the last times they played here, with explosive opener Priyansh Arya falling in the first over. However, Josh Inglis then came in and tonked the first four balls he faced for a four and three sixes. Prabhsimran Singh also scored at a strong rate with the returning Mayank Yadav shredded to pieces by the two batters. Inglis fell in the fifth over, making it two wickets lost in the powerplay for PBKS but they did score a healthy 66 runs in the period as well.(ANI)
