Punjab Kings followed up losing a match after scoring 245/6 by winning a game after being all out for 111 runs. They broke the record for the lowest score ever defended in a T20 match as they beat KKR by 16 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been a shadow of his usual self this season, found form in spectacular fashion, taking four wickets in his first three overs. (PTI)

PBKS started well but it was all done with Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyer falling to Harshit Rana in the fourth over off rather inocuous deliveries. Rana went on to dismiss Prabhsimran Singh off the last ball of the powerplay. (Hindustan Times)

Marco Jansen then dismissed Rana in the next over and all of a sudden, KKR were down to their last two wickets. Chahal returned after that to bowl out in the 14th over and Andre Russell, who has hardly scored any runs all year long, tonked him for two sixes and a four, thus bring KKR's requirement down to 17 needed from 36 balls.
