Incessant rain lashed several parts of Kerala causing landslides and flash floods. At least 15 people have died and several are feared missing. Earlier today, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan urged people in the state to take all precautions against the rain.
A total of 11 teams of the National Disaster Relief Teams (NDRF) have been deployed to the state in coordination with the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA). Earlier today, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a 'Yellow Alert' in 11 districts of Kerala for heavy rainfall.(ANI )
