The 'Beating the Retreat' ceremony is held every year in the national capital at Vijay Chowk on January 29 to mark the culmination of the four-day-long Republic Day celebrations. This year, tunes based on Indian Classical Ragas will be the flavour of the ceremony and 3,500 will illuminate the sky. (PTI)
