“Motion sickness happens when the movement you see is different from what your inner ear senses. This can cause vomating, nausea, and dizziness. “You can get motion sick in a car, or on a train, airplane, boat, or amusement park ride. Anybody can get motion sickness, but it’s most common in children and pregnant women. Unlike a cold, you can’t spread it to other people. It’s not contagious. Contact your healthcare provider as dehydration resulting from vomiting can be fatal,” says Dimple.
