When we grow up in a dysfunctional home, the nervous system gets into the fight or flight mode as a survival strategy. This further makes us anxious and stressed all the time. "Living with multiple (chronic) trauma can become our normal which makes it hard to identify why we are struggling today. For many people it comes as a surprise that the root cause lies in their upbringing and the work needs to start there.
