Jamaican sprinter became the first to achieve the 100 and 200m Olympic trebles and Twitter went wild.

In case you missed it, Usain Bolt continued to be really, really fast on Friday. The Jamaican coasted to the 200m gold in 19.78 seconds to become the first to achieve the 100 and 200m Olympic trebles.

Frankly, it’s almost become just a job for him. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. Muhammad Ali beat people up. Bolt runs ridiculously fast (How fast? Why, check out our awesome infographic pitting Bolt vs every country’s fastest man here.)

Twitterverse didn’t even pretend to be surprised this time around. Those awestruck simply congratulated Bolt and felt lucky to be alive to be able to see the man in action.

Fellow sportpersons joined in the congratulations.

Cricketers sent out messages of their own. Fun fact: It would take Bolt 1.9 seconds to cover 22 yards.

Then there was one hysterical ‘Jamaican mother’ cheering for the sprinter.

It didn’t take 19.78 seconds for the memes to begin.

The best of the lot were the barbs on USA swimmer Ryan Lochte, who appears to have spun a yarn worthy of a Hollywood thriller.
