Two cops dead, DSP injured in accident on G Noida Eexpressway
Three persons including two policemen died and a deputy superintendent of police was critically injured when a speeding car hit the police team at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway on Wednesday night. The deceased were identified as constable Mohan Singh and Balraj Singh.

DSP Harendra Singh received critical injuries and is said to be in coma. Driver of the car, identified as Yash Agrawal, also succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Many other policemen also suffered minor injuries.
According to police, Harendra and his team were removing a dumper from near FNG cut at Noida-Greater Noida Expressway which was causing traffic snarl in the area. At about 11.30pm, a speeding white Maruti Swift car failed to spot the stationary police vehicles and crane and rammed directly into the police team.
“The injured were rushed to the hospital where two of our constables were declared dead on arrival. The driver of the car also died in the accident. Harendra Singh received critical head injuries,” said Ajay Kumar, deputy superintendent of police, Greater Noida.
Deceased Mohan was the gunner of Harendra Singh and Balraj was posted with the traffic police.
Police said Harendra's ribs were also broken and the bones injured the internal organs. Both of his legs are also broken.
“Currently he is unconscious due to head injury. Doctors said he is in coma and they can't assure about his recovery,” he added.
Police said a group of boys were returning to their home in Aligarh after watching IPL match in Delhi when the incident occurred.
A case of under relevant sections of IPC was registered at Surajpur police station. Four other occupants of the car were admitted at different hospitals.
