Pakistani hackers attack college portal, anti-Indian slogans posted
The police said the hackers posted a flag of Pakistan and also anti-India slogans, filled with derogatory remarks, on the website.
The website of IMS Law College was allegedly hacked on Monday night. The police said the hackers posted a flag of Pakistan and also anti-India slogans, filled with derogatory remarks, on the website.

“The college administration approached the cyber crime cell following which an FIR under sections of IT Act was registered at Sector 58 police station. The website was blocked immediately,” Ravikant Parashar, station house officer of Sector 58 police station, said.
“We got to know about the incident on Tuesday morning when some of the students opened the website. We immediately informed the cyber crime cell and got the website blocked. The derogatory remarks, abuses and flag of Pakistan flag were also removed from the website,” RC Tripathi, additional registrar of IMS Law College in Sector 62, said.
Cyber crime officials said that the investigation is in a primary stage and they have not been able to trace the hackers so far.
“We have sought the internet protocol (IP) address (from where the attack was made), which has not been received so far. We will be able to identify the location once we get the IP address. It looks like the hackers have used an onion router type of equipment. However, it is too early to say anything conclusively,” Vivek Ranjan Rai, inspector in-charge of Noida cyber crime cell, said.
Police said the website will remain suspended till the attackers are traced and the problem is fixed.
“Our cyber crime cell is well equipped to deal with such problems. It won’t take us more than two days to fix this problem,” said Dinesh Yadav, superintendent of police (SP), Noida.
