Four robbers arrested, 12 vehicles recovered in Greater Noida
Four suspected car jackers were arrested in Greater Noida on Tuesday night and 12 stolen vehicles recovered
The team constituted to nab vehicle lifters in Greater Noida recorded a major success on Tuesday night with the arrest of four suspected robbers and recovery of 12 stolen vehicles, police said.

Addressing mediapersons, superintendent of police (rural) Sujata Singh said the arrests were made following a tip-off on Tuesday night that a group of robbers were fleeing after stealing a Maruti Ritz from Kasna. The newly constituted anti-robbery squad and a crime branch team cordoned off the area near Gaur Chowk in Greater Noida West. When the gang stopped the car, they were arrested, police said.
Police recovered three cars — Verna, Alto and Ritz — all with Delhi registration numbers; a Santro with Gautam Budh Nagar registration, six motorcycles, one autorickshaw. They also seized two countrymade pistols, four live cartridges and two knives from their possession.
She said the accused would overtake a vehicle and on the pretext of asking for directions and the rob the drivers of cash, ATM cards and vehicles.
The accused Naveen alias Nainu, Rohit and Rahul are from Ghaziabad, while Rohit Adhana is from Delhi. Their gang leader Bunty Gurjar and other accomplices Bhura, Rajnish and Arjun are on the run.
