A day after panchayat elections, a 40-year-old resident of Bisada village allegedly died due to overdose of alcohol.
A day after panchayat elections, a 40-year-old resident of Bisada village allegedly died due to overdose of alcohol. Body of Kishan Kumar, 40, was found in his room on early Tuesday morning, police said.

“The deceased was found dead by his family members. We have sent the body for postmortem, reports of which are awaited,” said Anurag Singh, deputy superintendent of police, Dadri area.
Police said a case will be registered if any foul play is found.
“The locals alleged that the deceased died due to overdose of alcohol gifted prior to the panchayat elections. We are looking into the matter,” said Singh.
Abhishek Sisodia, resident of the village accused the government for failing to avert rampant use of illicit liquor, which led to the incident.
“The candidates distributed large quantity of liquor to seek votes. The villagers have requested police for a fair probe so that we can get to know about the exact reason of death,” said Sisodia.
