This song is special to me because I remember watching the movie first day, first show in Los Angeles. The next morning, when I landed in Mumbai, I went over to Ismail Darbar’s place and had him isten to my songs. He gifted me an introduction with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and an entry into Bollywood. Teri Justajoo by Roopkumar Rathod (2010) I feel very connected to the lyrics of the song and love the way it has been sung. I have been a fan of this legendary tune long before it was included the recent film, Shor In The City.Zindagi Khab Hai from Jaagte Raho (1956)For me, this song sung by Mukesh, describes my philosophy in life. The lyrics are soulful. I believe in every single line of this song.Bade Achche Lagte Hain from Balika Badhu (1976) This is one of my all-time favourite songs. I used to listen to it when I was in college and sang it for almost all my friends. Tere Naina from My Name Is Khan (2010) Not only are the lyrics of this song great, but the singer Shafqat Amanat Ali has also done an amazing job. It grows on you. Eat Dilip Joshi, owner, ZincKebabs & Kurries (ITC Maratha, Sahar) This place serves outstanding kebabs, be it the succulent and full-bodied Burrah Kebab or the Murgh Angaar. The high ceilings add to the ambience, which is further enhanced by the fact that you can see the food being cooked in the kitchens bustling with chefs. Two One Two (Worli) Their pizzas are highly recommended and I was thrilled beyond expections. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was absolutely fresh. I always leave this place extremely satiated. Busaba (Colaba) This place is a heaven of Asian delicacies for me. I enjoy Chef Nikhil’s signature Thai dishes served in this cosy joint. The banana leaf wrapped chicken, fresh water fish in lime, garlic and honey and of course the chocolate fondant, are top notch. Amadeus (Nariman Point) This place makes great contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. The marisco de Rosa is lovely. I always end my meals here with the best crème Catalan in town, paired with mango tequila chilli. Olive (Bandra) It’s the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon or evening. Olive has an extensive bar menu with a good variety of champagne, wines and cocktails. Their pizzas are absolutely divine.Watch Rituparna Sengupta, actorMasoom (1983) It portrays human emotions and the way one deals with them beautifully. The story is true to life and nothing makes it look like a film. Even the kids have done a brilliant job in it. Hats off to the entire team.Notting Hill (1999) This film is the best romantic comedy ever I have ever seen. I am yet to meet someone who has not enjoyed this film. It truly is a classic and no one can ever get enough of it. It’s a celebration of love in modern times and has such a funny script. Ghost (1990) Love makes the world go round and this film truly speaks about it. Even the intimate scenes in this film are done with so much class that it doesn’t look sleazy at all. The characters are so real that one stays engrossed in it all through. Dil Toh Pagal Hai (1997) What a lovely new age romance film this is. One can watch it a 100 times over and still not get bored. I truly enjoyed it. It’s so realistic. I would jump at getting the opportunity to do such a film ever in my career.Ijaazat (1987) Gulzar’s Ijaazat is easily the benchmark for Indian movies. The story, script and surprise element in the movie are beyond comparison. The direction is superb with the added magic of mind-blowing songs, music and lyrics.
