NDA anniv: 25 Union ministers and leaders to reach out to people
MUMBAI: As the BJP-led central government planned a blitzkrieg on the occasion of its second anniversary, 25 Union ministers and 11 senior party leaders from the central leadership will hold rallies in different parts of the state to tell people what the government has done in the past two years.

This will be part of the programme named ‘Vikas Parv’ (Evolution Festival) that was prepared to commemorate completion of two years of Modi government at the Centre. Starting Friday, the programme will continue for the next 15 days.
“Union ministers and senior leaders from the central leadership will be accompanied with a Maharashtra minister and an office-bearer from the state party unit. They will hold public meetings, interaction sessions with party workers and the media to inform about the work done by the BJP government in the past two years,” Madhav Bhandari, state BJP spokesperson, told HT.
Most of the districts in the state have been divided into rural and urban parts for organising public meetings. Only Mumbai city has been divided according to the six parliamentary constituencies that will be covered by three national leaders, of them two will be Union ministers.
The objective is to reach maximum areas of the state, said a senior party functionary.
In Maharashtra, ‘Vikas Parv’ starts on Friday with Ravi Shankar Prasad, minister of state for communications and information technology, visiting Mumbai.
